This extraordinary estate spans the North Shore of beautiful Clear Lake. With three quarters of a mile of lake front this property is the home to Jim Fetzer’s Organic and Biodynamic ranch. Incorporating one hundred and sixty three acres of vineyards, olives, walnuts and lavender it is complemented with a two acre herb and vegetable garden, a compound of Hacienda Style buildings that include two incredible courtyards with fountains, our famous authentic Pomo Room and Tasting Room. Our main courtyard shares an amazing view of Lavender Fields, Clear Lake and our 360 foot pier. Adding to the landscape are striking Palm Trees, enchanting 100 year old olive trees and numerous Italian Cypress. This astonishing plant life and the conceptual architecture of the buildings allow you to feel as though you have been transformed into another world. Ceago del Lago is the perfect place to create and share a magical and memorable event.
Rates & Deposits
Please note that all Site Fees include the use of area rented and restrooms. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of booking with a signed contract to reserve your date. The remaining rental fee plus a security deposit of $500.00 is required 30 days prior to the event. High season months are May through December.
Includes
One hour planning meeting with a representative from Ceago; Four-Six hours event time subject to the nature of the event; Three hours set up time for your preparation; A Ceago representative at the event. If a ceremony is planned, we allow one hour for rehearsal at a time that is based upon Ceago’s schedule. Additional fees apply for extended meeting time, rehearsal time or event overtime.
Insurance
1,000,000 liability policy is required.
Wine & Beverages
Ceago wines are served exclusively offering a full spectrum of wines to select from. Ceago provides a 20% case discount on all Ceago Vinegarden wines. Sparkling wine may be provided by Ceago upon request. Wine and sparkling wine will need to be purchased prior to the event. Beer and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted through the catering company. Sales tax will be applied to all beverages. Alcohol service ends 15 minutes before the conclusion of your event. No spirits are allowed on premise and smoking is permitted in designated areas only.
Catering
At Ceago Vinegarden we require the use of approved Caterers or an opportunity to work directly with our winery chef to create a beautiful seasonal menu. Please contact Carleen Butler for the list of approved Caterers.
Music
Amplified or live music is allowed if kept at an acceptable volume level and subject to approval by Ceago. Music ends at 10:30.
Pets
We are a pet-free site. Due to the nature of farm life we ask you to leave your pets at home for their safety as well as our animals.
