Vineyards
Ceago Vinegarden is a 163 acre agro-tourism experience and farm located on the northern shore of Clear Lake between the villages of Nice and Lucerne in Lake County, California. On our estate we have planted 50 vine acres of 6 varietals of wine grapes with 32 different clones within the varietals. The estate also produces delicious mouth- watering vegetables, fruits, herbs, kiwis, olives, walnuts, figs, and fragrant lavender. This diversity provides a platform that creates a harmonious environment producing the highest quality fruit from distinct terroir for our customers.
At Ceago we believe that the first and foremost step in making great wine is growing top quality grapes. Ceago concentrates on sound farming principles. Our grapes are certified Sustainable by California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW-Certified) and we incorporate the best of organic and Biodynamic practices which balance the needs of the grapes with the capability of the land to produce distinctive, high quality fruit. The character of our grapes must be experienced to be understood and appreciated. We believe that our estate quality fruit is a living testament to our strict but ultimately important farming standards.
